Abstract

The Citarum River problem has always been a big task of the West Java Regional Government every
period. Disbursed loans from foreign funds in several phases in fact cannot solve various problems that
have occurred so far. Weak supervision and decisive action for corporate waste disposal criminals is one
of the serious problems that have never been resolved. Walhi West Java as an independent institution
must strengthen supervision of all policies issued by the Regional Government, so that the normalization
of one of the dirtiest rivers in the world can be realized again.
