Assorted brushes are used to have a
variety of strokes.
Palette is one that contains or holds the
painting medium.
Palette knife is used to mix colors on
the palette and sometimes to add colors
to and scrape or remove colors from the
painting surface
Easel is the frame that supports the
painting; it usually have 3 legs.

- the sculptor simply puts together the
materials to come up with the desired figure.
