ABOUT 'IT' BEING ONE OF THE CONTRIBUTORS TO
CHEMISTRY THROUGH TIME.

In the blinding glare of constant, ubiquitous electronic progress, how

vulgar and outdated the pen seems. As Scrooge observed, "with the march
of those terrible bells," the pen may seem a ghost of the dirty, poor past,
to be relegated to the graveyard or the nightmares of the elderly.

And yet, there it is, in the halls of kings and presidents, the counters of
banks and games. Are we ever to be rid of them? I for one hope not.

As much as a millenial enjoys the glitter and appeal of new gadgets and
technology, there is something refreshingly simple about using a pen and
actually understanding where it came from!
