TEMA 1. COMPARISONS
The girl on the right is called Karen, the boy on the left is Roberto, Karen is shorter than
Roberto, she is 1.55 mt, she has long hair and is also blonde, her nails are painted,
Roberto's are not , Karen is very happy, she is thin, she is more sensitive than Roberto, she
is usually more studious and disciplined than Roberto. She is messier than Roberto but
she is also better at getting up early. Roberto is taller than Karen, he is very rude, he is
very serious, he does not like games or dances, he is very studious and intelligent, he is
more strict than Karen, usually Karen is happier than Roberto, Roberto is very elegant
while Karen is simpler than Roberto. (20)
Roberto has dark hair and is thinner than Karen, however, Karen is lighter than Roberto.
Roberto is very modern and is a very calm person, Roberto is more infatuated than
Karen, but Karen is cuter than Roberto.
Roberto is jealous, but Karen is more jealous than Roberto, Roberto does not like to work
but Karen loves it, she enjoys doing her job a lot. Roberto and Karen play the guitar, Karen
is much more talented than Roberto, and she is in 2 bands, while Roberto only practices in
private. (30)

Roberto is not married, Karen is engaged. Roberto is 25 years old, Karen is only 24 years
old, Roberto is a systems engineer while Karen is studying to be a cook. Roberto has a
stable job but Karen is unemployed. Roberto can speak 5 languages but Karen is better
at speaking English.
TEMA 2. ACTIVITIES IN PROGRESS

Today we are enjoying a day of rest, we decided to make a camping in the backyard of the
house, we are eating sandwiches with orange soda and we are talking about the
importance of family time. In the second image you can see that we are walking towards
a shopping center, then in the third image it is evident that we are buying several things
that we had the craving to have ... In the fourth image we are having some drinks while
we wait for the cook who is preparing lunch . My father is the tall man who is wearing a
brown sweater in the fourth image, my mother is the lady who is wearing the blue blouse,
my little sister is the one who is carrying a balloon in her hand and I am the boy who is
riding on the shoulders of the tall man who is my father.

TEMA 3. TALKING ABOUT ROUTINES

My counsin Alejandra, is 25 years old, she´s tall and thin and is very shy, that's why people
say she´s serious… Aleja usually wakes up at 5 a.m. but she gets up until 5:20 a.m. She
drinks some coffe before make her bed and she takes a shower at 5:45 a.m. Then she has
breakfast at 8:30 a.m. in her work she always has luch at 1:00 p.m. She usually goes back
to her work at 2:00 p.m, Sometimes, she goes to home at 5:30… But rarely she finishes
work at 7:00 p.m If she goes out from her work at 5:30 she goes to swim or run gym at 6:00
p.m. She tries to get home at 7:30 p.m. She always has dinner at 8:30 p.m. with her family
she uses to study from 9:00 p.m. until 1 a.m. She always goes to bed at 1:15 a.m.She likes
to study, so when she has free time she studies the majority of the time or sometimes she
goes to a bar to listen to music while drink beers She uses to visit her granmother all
Sundays she goes out with her father twice per week.
TEMA 4. TALKING ABOUT A TOWN
Santa Marta, Colombia is the oldest city in South America is full of a magic hard to
describe, its unique architectural heritage, beautiful landscapes and a great cultural legacy
with its colonial treasures, make this natural paradise an ideal destination to enjoy, know
and remember.

The city of Santa Marta uses as a tourist slogan; the magic of having everything; since it
has more than one hundred beaches and a snowy mountain range.
