Job Description
Position : Assistant Officer
Duty station : Head Office, Harisiddhi, Lalitpur,Nepal

Time mode : Full time


Department : Quality Control
Primary Reporting to : Head of Quality Control

1. Key Result Areas : 1. Secretary of Quality Department


(KRAs) 2. Communication with clinical and non-clinical staffs
regarding quality related issues
3. Act as liaison within the Quality Team, and to all other
internal teams to support with quality related matters
4. Maintain systematic records related to quality
control
5. Conduct internal quality audit
6. Risk analysis
7. Patient/ Client Feedback (Patient satisfaction index)
of OPD, IPD, RT, Diagnostic and Support services
2. Specific 1. Maintain a professional and comfortable working

2. Maintain work ethics of staffs of quality department
3. Recording of incoming and outgoing letters and
documents of quality department
4. Schedule meetings
5. Secretariat for meetings on IPC meetings when required
6. Via e-mails, calls, meetings to inform about quality
indicators captured (or to be captured) and the
conclusions derived from those indicators
7. Professional delivery of information on weaknesses/
complaints (to be improved)
8. Policies and Procedures (ISO, NABH)
9. Coded formats/ documents being used in the hospital
(internal and external documents)
10. Publications and books related to quality control
11. Documents relating to regulatory and statutory
requirements of Nepal
12. Distribution of controlled copy
13. Survey and collect data from departments and units
based on the audit topic/ quality indicator/ internal
quality auditors, reports etc
14. Data analysis and interpretation to determine
organizational compliance with ISO, NABH standards
and shortcomings as well
15. Assist in re-audit to measure improvement
16. Coordinate and assist external auditors
17. Observe all areas of hospital to identify risks concerning
patient safety and service quality
18. Assess occupational hazards concerning employees of
the organization
19. Prepare and update questionnaire for regular patient
satisfaction index.
20. Analyze and record status of patient satisfaction index
and patient feedback
21. Root cause analysis and reporting
3. Key Performance 1. Number of late information for meetings
Indicators (KPIs) 2. Number of delayed information (feedback) to
department heads regarding quality indicators
3. Number of missing/misplaced documents of quality
department
4. Number of not upgraded documents related to legal,
statutory and regulatory compliance related to
quality standards acquired by hospital

4. Reporting a. Reporting on a daily basis to Head of Administration about


the tasks completed and difficulties faced.
5. Others a. Perform other duties as assigned by the
management/immediate supervisor from time to time.

Duty hours : Minimum, but not limited, 8 hours per day, 48 hours a
week. You are entitled to be on duty as per need of the
hospital on on-call basis.
