Let’s Reflect.

What feature or attributes of 21st century education will you prioritize in your own classroom? Why?

The 21st century is unlike any other time in the world, historically everyone has been in natures
hands now it has been largely upon us, the goal has been to get humanity through the coming challenges
of peril, opportunity and chaos. There must be an absolute crusade to address the changes ahead. And the
21st Century Education if not the most but surely be one of the greatest tool to overcome this.
And us teachers have the biggest responsibility to shed light on a series of current challenges. How
we train and mentor our students is what will be their respond to the world. I believe these critical
attributes of the 21st century education presented all have equal importance when it comes to be utilized
inside the classroom, and I will not just be prioritizing one feature but at least I will make a huge effort to
inculcate even a small but meaningful portion of every single one of it in the everyday scenarios in the
school and classroom. Surely it will be hard to realize but it has nothing bigger compared to what we and
our learners could reap and succeed despite the raging challenges.
I want to create students that are technologically driven but at the same time know how to bring this
field into creating solution for community problems with acceptable project method. I am expecting
students that even though acquire education within themselves through their self-discoveries and
enhancing one’s passion but still manage to integrate his knowledge into other fields and apply the same
skill in acing other fields. And lastly, because I am looking forward for individuals that even though
updated to current trends and very rigorous in sharing his opinion, but still grounded to his values and
connected to nature. This are the manifestations we can get for 21st century learners if we leave no stones
unturned. Why prioritize one if we can manage all? Well if we go back to the context of 21 st century
education, it requires us to learn as many skills and knowledge as we possibly can, so we must do our best
to do that.
