MISSION STATEMENT: “Establish Shan as the leading culinary brand, offering authentic traditional
recipes & home food solutions, with relentless focus on excellence in all we do, ensuring a
wholesome experience for our consumers around the world”

KEY COMPONENTS:

1. PRODUCT AND SERVICES: As shown in mission statement, “Keen on making their products
efficient”
2. CUSTOMERS: Promises to give good experience to customers.
3. CONCERN FOR PUBLIC IMAGE: Establishing themselves as the good brand overall.

2: INTEL
MISSION STATEMENT:” We engineer solutions for our customers’ greatest challenges with reliable,
cloud to edge computing, inspired by Moore’s Law.

KEY COMPONENTS:

1. CUSTOMERS: provides enough facilities to their customers.


2. PRODUCT/SERVICE: promises to have high quality service.
3. TECHNOLOGY: updated technology to overcome the challenges

3: YAHOO:
MISSION STATEMENT: "As a leader in global daily habits like email, entertainment, news and sports,
we strive to inspire, delight and entertain. By infusing our products with beauty and personality
driven by our users, every Yahoo experience feels made to order."

KEY COMPONENTS:

1. MARKETS: YAHOO specifies the target market which consist of all organizations.
2. PRODUCTS: emphasizes convenience.
3. CUSTOMERS: Empower the customers experience.
4. CONCERN FOR EMPLOYES: Treating employes equally.
4: SAMSUNG:
MISSION STATEMENT:” We will devote our human resources and technology to create superior
products and services, thereby contributing to a better global society. Inspire the world with our
innovative technologies, products and design that enrich people’s lives and contribute to social
prosperity by creating a new future”

KEY COMPONENTS:

1. TECHNOLOGY:Innovative technology.
2. PRODUCTS: high quality.
3. Market: remain sustainable overall.
4. Concern for emplyoees: promises to give equal rights.
5. Customers: promises to give great experience.
6. Philosophy: highest standard to professional and ethical conduct.
7. Self concept: “competitive advantage” “uniqueness”

5: HONDA ATLAS:
MISSION STATEMENT:” “A dynamic growth oriented company through market leadership,
excellence in quality and service and maximizing export, ensuring attractive returns to equity
holders, rewarding associates according to their ability and performance, fostering a network of
engineers and researchers ensuing unique contribution to the development of the industry,
customer satisfaction and protection of the environment by producing emission friendly green
products as a good corporate citizen fulfilling its social responsibilities in all respects.”

1. Concern for public image: ethical values and maintains high standard.
2. TECHNOLOGY:Innovative technology.
3. PRODUCTS: high quality.
4. Market: remain sustainable overall.
5. Concern for emplyoees: promises to give equal rights.
6. Customers: promises to give great experience.

Conclusion:
After evaluating five mission statements of five companies based on nine components given in
business strategy book. finally, I can conclude that there are two companies "SAMSUNG AND
HONDA ATLAS" can be considered as best. However, the HONDA ATLAS mission statement is very
lengthy as compared to others four mission statements. But SAMSUNG mission statement gives
enough components of effective mission statements to overcome the best as compared to other
four companies.So, "SAMSUNG"mission statement can be considered as best mission statement
because it includes seven components. "ranked better than all".
