The Inti Raymi is an ancient Inca religious celebration in

Cusco, although it also had special relevance in the

Raymi lasted about 15 days, saicrifaices were made and
dances or dances were presented to worship the "Sun
God". The last Inti Raymi that was carried out with the

IMPORTANCE
Traditions are part of our culture and help us
understand where our family members come
from. Traditions are especially important for
young people who live in a different
environment than previous generations,
including their parents or uncles. Traditions
help you understand your roots and develop
your identity. In the same way, traditions help
us understand the roots of the ideas of family
members and those around us.
