Some people agree that the only way to improve road safety is to give

much stricter punishments on driving offenses. This opinion has my support

but from my perspective, there are still many other solutions to progress road
safety. I will demonstrate my standpoint as follows.
Initially, heavy fines on driving offenses help reduce traffic collisions.
Currently, the traffic safety and order control force has issued many innovative
laws to put an end to unsafety on the road such as drastically enforcing traffic
enforcement for illegally parked cars when patrolling the roads, quickly
proceeding to make records, taking photos, locating parked cars and printing
receipts glued to the car glass or imposing heavy fines on all subjects that
affect traffic safety such as market meetings, trading, grazing cattle, drying
rice straw and rice... on roads,…. By only doing this way, we create surprises
and limit the subjectivity of traffic participants. It also creates a habit for road
users to strictly abide by the laws on traffic safety.
The further point is that there are still many other solutions to improve
road safety. We can propagate awareness in many forms such as handing out
leaflets and portable speakers to disseminate traffic laws to the whole society.
Strengthening the efficiency of state management of training and granting of
driver's licenses for cars, motorbikes and mopeds. Furthermore, we can
constantly inspect the quality of traffic infrastructure, conditions to ensure
traffic order and safety on the roads to promptly detect and recommend
remedial measures. These are also some radical solutions to reduce traffic
accidents.
To sum up everything that has been stated so far, the increased
introduction of more draconian laws improves road safety. However, it is not
the only way given in all circumstances.
