PLAZA Municipal Tourism Focal Person Dear Mayor Py: The Provincial Government of Oriental Mindoro would like to extend its deepest gratitude and appreciation to you and the Municipality of San Teodoro for your assistance and support in the recently conducted 360° Virtual Reality Experiential Tour in Oriental Mindoro of the Tourism Promotions Board (TPB) and the Department of Tourism (DOT) on 12-19 August 2021. The 360° Virtual Reality photos and videos will be featured in TPB’s website along with other premier tourist destinations and unique attractions of the different provinces and regions in the country. Said website has links to DOT's and TPB’s international partners which will enable them to view our tourism sites from where they are around the world. This activity is also in preparation for the gradual and safe re-opening of our tourism sites and destinations to local and international tourists in the “next normal”. We are hoping that these kinds of projects will aid in the promotion of our tourism products and destinations which will in turn help improve our economy and will help lift the quality of life of our people especially in this time of pandemic.
