3. Environmental science is mission-oriented. What is meant by mission-oriented?

What is meant by mission oriented is that it aims at addressing and solving problems​ that
are related to our environment. Such as identifying and solving these problems like: pollution,
soil degradation, global warming, overpopulation, natural resource depletion, generating
unsustainable waste, waste disposal and other more problems.
