DESCRIPTION:

Freshgard 700 is an emulsifiable concentrate fungicide for the
control of post-harvest decay of citrus fruits caused by
Penicillium Digitatum (green mold) and Penicillium Italicum
(blue mold).

DIRECTIONS FOR USE:
Compatibility:
Freshgard® 700 is compatible with citrus fruit waxes. The
compatibility of Freshgard® 700 with other products depends
on the formulations of the respective products as well as the
quality of the spray water to be used. A physical compatibility
test must always be performed before
such a tank mixture is made.
Application Rates (Post-Harvest Treatments):
A. In Non-Recovery Water Spray/Brush On: add 50 mL
of Freshgard® 700 in 25 Liter of water to obtain a
treatment concentration of 1000ppm Imazalil. Apply to
freshly cleaned citrus immediately prior to waxing. The
25L of mixture should be used to treat a maximum of
17,000kg of citrus fruit. This treatment will also result
in good sporulation control.
B. In Citrus Pack-Out Wax: mix 150mL Freshgard® 700
in 25L citrus wax to obtain treatment concentration of
3,000 Imazalil. After dilution of Freshgard® 700 in wax,
stir mixture thoroughly for at least 15 minutes with
waxing device.
C. Application in Citrus Pack-Out Wax After An
Imazilil Water Treatment: mix 100mL Freshgard®
700 in 25L citrus wax to obtain treatment
concentration of 2,000ppm Imazilil. After dilution of
Freshgard® 700 in wax, stir mixture thoroughly for at
least 15 minutes with mixing device.

MIXING INSTRUCTIONS:
Freshgard® 700 does not mix easily with cold water or cold
water based waxes. Since large droplets of undiluted
Freshgard® 700 can cause serious burns to citrus it is
necessary to first mix Freshgard® 700 thoroughly with
± 500mL warm water (±40°C) before added to the rest of
water or wax in the applicator. Mixture must be agitated
constantly.
PACKAGING / SHELF LIFE / STORAGE:
 Packaging: 1 Liter Containers.
 Shelf-Life: in a closed container, two years from the
date of manufacture.
 Storage Condition: not less than 5°C or above 35°C.
STORAGE AND DISPOSAL:
Storage:
Protect container from heat, freezing, and physical
damage. Store in a cool, dry place away from sunlight.
Waste Disposal:
Wastes resulting from the use of this product may be
disposed of on site or at an approved waste disposal facility
in accordance with all country-specific environmental
regulations. Because regulations vary by location and may
change, the appropriate agencies should be contacted
before disposal.
Container Disposal:
Triple rinse empty container with clean water equal to 30%
of the volume of the container and add rinsing to the spray
tank. Puncture the container so it cannot be reused.
Recycle container and do not use for any other purpose.
