1. About her mother clan
2. When will MC and ML meet again?

I have only read about 100 or 200 chapters ahead of the current translation so I
don't know everything but I can answer as best as I can.

Her mother's clan is extremely ancient and there are three primary surnames on that
island. Liu Yue is that descendent of one of those families and since she is the
only daughter in that family, she is engaged to Yufei. This is the only reason why
everybody cares so much about her even though she has never been to the island
before. She is the only descendent of one of those families.

They meet again when Liu Yue agrees to marry Prince Ao Yun. The reason she agrees
to this marriage is because she's trying to get the prince assassinated by the
people from the island. Liu Yue knows that the island won't let her marry anyone so
she deliberately tries to get married to someone that she wants dead. Yuan Che
doesn't know that she is actually trying to use the island as a borrowed knife so
he freaks out and rushes over to Ao Yun.

As of where I stopped, she just recently became queen regent of Bei Mu. The
previous queen was poisoned so Liu Yue was designated as the new queen regent. I
don't know what Liu Yue's plans are but most likely, she is going to use them to
fight the island someway somehow because that's what she says behind Yufei's back.
Yufei asks her if she's happy now that she is queen to which she replied yes. He
thinks it's because she likes being in power but she just wants a weapon to fight
against the island.

I haven't read past that point.

Yufei? As in the Ouyang Yufei that dropped "snot" on her back while helping her
applied medicine to her back? xD
Does Yufei likes the MC? Was it a coincidence that he found the MC when went
missing from that drop from that high place? What happen to Du Yi? Where is he now?

Du Yi is alive. Yufei is implied to be the one behind her so called assassination.
She was shot by a poisoned arrow and he was there to catch her right as she fell.
He also carried the antidote for that poison.

It's never specifically stated whether or not he was actually behind it but it
would make sense especially since the island doesn't actually want to kill her.
They probably manufactured the situation to make it kind of like a damsel in
distress situation where feelings can easily appear. Like a handsome guy shows up
out of nowhere to save the damsel in distress makes the girl fall in love with him.
They are after all engaged.

Oh that poor girl. She gets betrothed to Ao Yun as part of an attempt to make an
alliance against the TC empire but LY ruins her wedding once again. First time it
was when LY assassinated everybody then the second time she was trying to get the
prince assassinated by the island which is trying to prevent her marriage.

Those are in translation and Ispoiled her official fiance already thus idk if there
