A job interview is a common step in getting a job in most countries, although
the form of the interview may differ.
Candidates may be interviewed one at the time or in a group. They may speak
with only one interviewer or with a whole group of them.
There are also difference in the kind of questions they are asked. In the USA,
for example, there are laws against job discrimination by age, religion, and
marital status, so interviewers are not allowed to ask questions like Are you
married?
The present perfect is commonly used when listing
professional experience.
Examples:
•I have published three articles.
•I have taught introductory calculus and I have supervised interns.
•I have studied at a private university.
•I have shortened the number of claims by 20%.
•I have developed a customer service data system.
Read the ads to look for and
find a ‘real job’.
Then, answer the questions.

have a connection with the present.

I’ve been to Mexico four times (so I know something about the
country).
