Control buttons

1 PITCH BEND WHEEL (only K4)


Wheel to change your tone-pitch.
2 MODULATION WHEEL (only K4)
Wheel to influence vibrato, modulation and wah-wah effects.
3 VOLUME SLIDER
To change volume strength of the outputs and the headphones.
4 VALUE SLIDER
To change the data value quickly during editing on display.
5 DISPLAY
Shows name and number of the sound during performance and shows the data values during Editing.
6 PATCH CHOOSE GROUP 1 (Single/Multi)
To choose between single and Multi patch and between internal sounds or External Sounds
of the CARD.
7 PATCH CHOOSE GROUP 2 (A.B.C.D)
To choose one of the 4 Banks; A, B, C of D. In the Multi-edit you can choose here the data-values.
8 PATCH CHOOSE GROUP 3 (1-16)
To choose one of the 16 patch-numbers. During single-edit you can change : source mute, Source
Select and Parameter Select. In Multi-edit you choose the section editing.
9 WRITE BUTTON
To store changes of the sound & settings in to the Data-Buffer and to perform MIDI DATA DUMPS
and CARD-functions.
10 EDIT BUTTON
To put into edit mode to change sounds and settings.
11 RECALL/COMPARE BUTTON
To Restore the original sound before editing, so you can compare the new made sound.
12 LINK/VALUE BUTTON
To change the sequence of the successively programmed sounds and to change parameter values.
13 DRUM BUTTON
To Edit and change the drum sounds settings.
14 EFFECT (only K4)/OUTPUT (only K4r) BUTTON
Only K4 : To change the settings for the Digital Effects and for only K4r : To select the sounds to
different outputs.
15 SYSTEM BUTTON
For common (for the whole synthesizer) settings, like : Tuning and MIDI-parameters.
16 PREV BUTTON
To display the parameter sequence before.
17 POWER BUTTON
To switch the power on/off.
18 DC INPUT
Input for adapter.
19 OUTPUT JACKS
To connect the synthesizer to a mixer or amplifier.
20 PHONES JACK
To connect a stereo headphone.
21 BOLD JACK
Sustain-footswitch Connection.
22 MIDI IN, OUT, THRU JACKS
To connect other MIDI hardware.
23 CARD INPUT
Input port for DC-16 ROM- or RAM-CARD.
