CSIO4070 - IoT For Industries - Syllabus
Course Objectives:
The purpose of this course is to impart knowledge on Internet of Things (IoT), which relates to the study of
sensors, actuators, and controllers, among other Things, IoT applications and examples overview (building
automation, transportation, healthcare, industry, etc.) with a focus towards industry.
Course Outcomes
At the end of the course student will be able to:
CO1 Understanding of IoT value chain structure, application areas and technologies involved
CO2 Building state of the art architecture in IoT.
CO3 Application of IoT in Industrial and Commercial Building Automation and Real-World Design
Constraints.
CO4 Explore and learn about Raspberry Pi &Arduino
CO5 Explore and learn about Internet of Things with the help of preparing projects designed for
Raspberry Pi.
CO6 Ability to independently carry out research / Investigations, identify problems and develop solutions
to solve practical problems in Internet of Things. (Create)
