SOLAR RICE PADDY

MACHINE
INTRODUCTION
 Agriculture usually plays a vital role in the economy of
every nation that exists. Not only for the reason that it
tends to feed the entire population of a country but
also in the respect that agriculture correlates and
interacts with all the related industries of that country.
A country is usually considered to be a social and
politically stable nation if it possesses a very stable
agricultural basis.
 Agriculture is very important for a country's economic
stability and welfare. If a country's agricultural sector is
so productive that it can yield enough to feed the
country's entire population, it does not have to import
food from other countries. If the country's agriculture
sector is so productive that it can produce enough to
feed the population as well as create a surplus which
can be exported, that results in great economic gain
for that particular country.
 Rice Paddy cleaning is last stage in rice farming which
takes maximum time of farmer. In India Paddy cleaning
is generally done manually. Thus, our intention is to
provide farmer a “SOLAR PROTABLE RICE PADDY
CLEANING MACHINE FOR CROPS”. This machine
consists of simple mechanism make to run by an DC
motor which will be economical to farmer and will take
less time for Rice Paddy cleaning operation.
 economic ability of our farmer it is required that is
should be simple and should fulfil the same intention
which are achieved by “SOLAR PROTABLE RICE PADDY
CLEANING MACHINE FOR CROPS”. This machine is
made to run by a single DC Motor with having 150 to
300 RPM.

IEEE PAPERS:Autonomous rice field operation project in NARO
Abstract: We are engaged in research about autonomous rice field
operation. We have developed an automated tractor, a rice transplanter
and a combine harvester. These automated agricultural machineries are
guided by a global positioning system (GPS) and a direction sensor such
as inertia measurement unit (IMU) using the controller area network
(CAN) bus. Because each machine is used for a limited period of time in a
year, we plan to share a main control computer and navigation sensors
among automated machineries. We expect to deliver autonomous
operation in paddy field at lower cost and to shorten the development
period of each machine. The actuator control command and data
communication protocols comply with the ISO 11783. In this paper, we
report about project outline and explain about a rice transplanter as an
example of automated agricultural machinery.

IEEE PAPER: Towards Paddy Rice Smart Farming: A Review on Big Data, Machine Learning, and
Rice Production Tasks.
Abstract: Big Data (BD), Machine Learning (ML) and Internet of Things (IoT) are expected to have
a large impact on Smart Farming and involve the whole supply chain, particularly for rice
production. The increasing amount and variety of data captured and obtained by these emerging
technologies in IoT offer the rice smart farming strategy new abilities to predict changes and
identify opportunities. The quality of data collected from sensors greatly influences the
performance of the modelling processes using ML algorithms. These three elements (e.g., BD, ML
and IoT) have been used tremendously to improve all areas of rice production processes in
agriculture, which transform traditional rice farming practices into a new era of rice smart farming
or rice precision agriculture. In this paper, we perform a survey of the latest research on intelligent
data processing technology applied in agriculture, particularly in rice production. We describe the
data captured and elaborate role of machine learning algorithms in paddy rice smart agriculture, by
analyzing the applications of machine learning in various scenarios, smart irrigation for paddy rice,
predicting paddy rice yield estimation, monitoring paddy rice growth, monitoring paddy rice disease,
assessing quality of paddy rice and paddy rice sample classification.

ADVANTAGES
1. Reduce the human effort: - Rice Paddy Machine mostly designs for reduce the
human efforts in which only one operator can be operate or handle the machine. While
the machine will begin there is not required more than one or two workers.
2. Reduce the cost: – Rice Paddy Machine, It can cut cheapest prices because it saves
the worker cost.
3. Reduce the time: – When the use Rice Paddy Machine they increase the capacity of
the working it can possible the maximum paddy removing within minimum time.
4. Easy to handle: – Rice Paddy Machine is easy for handling we can easily start
the machine.
5. Unskilled worker can operate: – no skill person required for operating the machine.
6. Safety to use: – during the working if any problem occurs in the machine, we
can easily find it.
