Media outlines the different channels of interaction that exist in society.

Since it encompasses
all forms of communication, media can refer to anything from a phone call to the evening news on
television. The influence of the media is tremendously powerful because we reside in a world filled with
information that is why it is dominating our society and culture (“What is media? Definition and
meaning”, 2019) Gender Inequality is very common these days like what happened in the viral tik tok
video which is very unfair for the girls NCAA basketball team and this is an eye-opener for NCAA and the
citizens since the problem reached the vice president. Gender Mainstreaming is a great idea to help
everyone attain the equality that everyone deserves. Luckily ASEAN organized Political Security Officials
to effectively reach the goal. Gender preference in society implies the type of behaviour, speech,
appearance, and demeanor that is associated with our gender. Like in the video Sky likes to do his
skincare, lotion and many more then Mae is insisting that he is gay it does not mean that he does these
things he is gay already and there is nothing wrong with being lesbian or gay, just respect them. Gender
roles are the role of a male and female in society, it does not mean that you are a female you should
know how to cook, sew clothes, wash dishes, etc. because I believe that guys must do this too because
this will not make you less of a man. Gender stereotyping describes the common practice of ascribing
specific characteristics, roles or attributes to women and men only because they are members of the
gender group. If a female likes basketball it's alright if a male loves fashion styling it's alright too it does
not mean that he/she is a member of LGBTQ++ already. Gender discrimination is really cruel especially
to the girls because even though you are good with what you are doing in the eyes of society they will
always favor the guys. Media helps everyone especially gen z and millennials to understand and accept
no matter what gender you are. These days a growing number of members of LGBTQ++ are showing
their true self because they are proud of what they are, stronger, and happy with what they have been
doing even though there are still people who will criticize and judge them.
