Adrenaline (Epinephrine) belongs to a group of medicines used
for the treatment of serious shock produced by a severe allergic
reaction or collapse. It may also be used to restart your heart if it
has stopped.

The medicine should start working almost immediately. If your
child's symptoms have not improved 5 minutes after using the
auto-injector, give another dose of adrenaline using a new pen.
Keep the child in the recovery position or lying down till help
arrives.
Drug
This medication is used in emergencies to treat very serious
allergic reactions to insect stings/bites, foods, drugs, or other
substances. Epinephrine acts quickly to improve breathing,
stimulate the heart, raise a dropping blood pressure, reverse
hives, and reduce swelling of the face, lips, and throat.
