You should spend about 20 minutes on this task.
The chart shows the unemployment situation in Australia in the year
2012.
Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main
features, and make comparisons where relevant.
You should write at least 150 words.

The chart above is about umemployment rate in Australia in 2012. Overall,


umemployment rate in urban areas is always lower than rural areas' throughout the
year. In the first quater of 2012, the unemplyment rate in the urban areas is just over
2%, whereas in the rural areas, the number goes up to nearly 7%, over thrice as much
as the urban area. But in second quater of the year, urban areas' unemployment rate
goes up by 2%, but in contrast, the rural areas' goes down by 2%, making the two
rating numbers almost equal, though rural areas' is still slighly higher. Moving on to
the third quater of the year, urban areas' unemployment ratedecreased by 2%, and on
the other hand, rural areas' saw a rise of about 1%. And in the last 3 months of 2012,
the unemployment rate of urban areas and rural areas are nearly the same, with uban
areas' going up by 1% and rural areas' going down by a mere 0.5%. So in conclusion,
it's safe to say that the rise and fall of unemployment rate in Australia's rural areas and
urban areas the year 2012 are not even throughout the year.
