Topic: Orientation on the LGU Bayambang on the Job Training
Date and Time: May 3, 2021, 7:30 AM

On the 3rd day of May, 2021 an online orientation was conducted by the
Municipal Employment Services Office for our batch of interns/on-the-job training as
ABEL 4th year students. This was to enlighten us about the OJT program during the
pandemic.

The activity was led by Municipal Employment Services Officer Gerenerio Q.

Rosales and HRMO head Nora Zafra at the Events Center which was also attended by
leaders of ICT (Ricky Bulalakaw), RHU (Dr. Roland Agbuya), MPDC (Ma-lene Torio)
and Tourism, BPRAT and PIO (Rafael L. Saygo), departments scheduled to receive
student OJTs. In the new alternative arrangement of the Department of Education,
PSU-Bayambang Campus Internship Coordinator Dr. Ghana L. Cahatol that most work
days will be work-at-home, and only five days will be allocated for face-to-face entrance.

During the orientation, Dr. Paz F. Vallo, (chairman, MIATF) discussed about the
Guidelines in the conduct of the Internship activities at the LGU during the COVID19
pandemic and followed by alternatives of Lieu of face to face On the job training by Dr.
Ghana L. Cahatol (PSU-Bayambang Campus Internship Coordinator). Afterwards, the
MESO & ICT talked about the workplace “in a work from home arrangement” following
this is the LGU “Organizational structure & policies” by Mrs. Nora R. Zafra (HRMO
head) and Ms. Ma-lene Torio (MPDC) talked about the areas for practicum training at
the LGU Bayambang.

The orientation was end through a question and aswer held by Mr. Rafael Saygo
(Tourism, BPRAT, PIO) he accommodated all the concerns about possibly outcomes for
the students interns. He ended the program by taking a picture of all participants and
wishing the best of luck in their upcoming OJT.
