Here are a few examples of behavioural questions you might be asked during an interview.

 Share an example of a time when you faced a difficult problem at work. How did you
solve this problem?
 In my current role as Leader, my team was impacted by Covid either personally or
at family front and we were short on capacity. Had lot of requests coming from
Sales Leaders on Territory Planning and team was under stress.
 As a leader, my job is to ensure team meets timelines/SLA but also are motivated
and do not get thrown under the bus
 I took control of the situation and started categorizing the deliverables/requests
into high/medium/low priority buckets and ensured that team members set the
right expectations with Stakeholders/Sales leaders on deliverables owing to Covid
situation and communicated the same.
 This helped in having the urgent requirements completed in time and built the
pipeline which gave team a breather and Stakeholders were clear with the
expectations and were delivered with tasks that were on priority
 Describe a time when you were under a lot of pressure at work. How did you react?
 In my role as team manager, I am required to ensure we have team well trained
and positioned to handle a process called YET.
 While were well prepared to handle 2020 YET, there was an heavy lifting
requirement that came at a last moment from Sales which was to accommodated
for YET. The ask was purely manual and required team to stretch.
 I brought in temporary resources from another team within the BU to assist and
we were able to include it in our process so that territories could be set up
correctly for 2021 for that business
 Tell me about a mistake you’ve made. How did you handle it?
 Communicated to the stakeholder that as a process, team also does closing the
loop for NSA accounts.
 Had a doubt and double checked to see if that was the case. Realized my mistake
of communicating one part incorrectly
 Immediately, went back to the stakeholder and made a correction and also
apologized for oversight
 My quick check and responsiveness saved him from communicating wrong at
larger forum
 Share an example of a time you had to make a difficult decision. What did you do?
 Had to terminate one of team members due to poor performance
 Though the feedback was provided on regular basis, but communicating the
termination part was difficult as I was doing it for the first time.
 I had been regularly connecting with the member and he got the understanding
that organization was not happy with his work and was provided feedback data
points on his performance against objectives
 I chose to select a day that was lighter on his side and he was comfortable having
a discussion on performance plan results and slot that was convenient for him
