Greetings!

The Municipality of Socorro coordinates all the necessary efforts in setting targets for solid
waste avoidance and volume reduction through source reduction and waste minimization
measures pursuant to Solid Waste Management Act of 2000. With this, the municipality
intends to properly follow the minimum standards and requirements for the collection and
transport of Solid Wastes to the designated Controlled Dumpsites. However, due to the
increasing number of population in the municipality, the solid wastes have also been rapidly
increasing but we lack of man power and necessary materials for its management and
transport.

In line with this, may I request your generous office to grant us with a vehicle or a mini dump
truck which shall be purposely used for the collection and transport of Solid Wastes within
the municipality.
