States visited in total: 6 (COLORADO, NEW MEXICO, TEXAS,

OKLAHOMA, ARIZONA, CALIFORNIA)

The calculations of the prices were made based on the fact that you will be staying one
night per hotel. It may vary (either cheaper or more expensive) if you stay longer than
one night.

The hotels were chosen based on price, category, and good reviews.

Since you like airports views, I chose especially two hotels with airplanes
landing/taking off views.

The longest distances you will travelling will be:

 From Santa Fe, NM. to Amarillo, TX. (4 hours and 3 minutes)

 From San Antonio, TX. to Fort Stockton, TX. (4 hours and 10 minutes)
 From San Diego, CA. to Bakersfield, CA. (4 hours and 19 minutes)

The whole road trip you will not be traveling more than 4 hours and 20 minutes) so you
don´t feel tired on the road.

Four hotels selected as category 4; those are:

1. Fairfield Inn & Suites Colorado Springs East/Ballpark. (COLORADO)

2. Sheraton DFW Airport Hotel. (TEXAS)
3. Aloft Phoenix-Airport. (ARIZONA)
4. Bakersfield Marriott at the Convention Center. (CALIFORNIA)

One hotel that I selected is category 5; that one is: Moxy San Diego
Downtown/Gaslamp Quarter. (CALIFORNIA). I decided to choose this one, because all
the hotels in San Diego, even the 4 stars, had terrible reviews, this one has excellent
reviews and is very well recommended.
