EXPLANATION:

First, let me elaborate what is LAC’s? A Learning Action Cell is a group of teachers who
engage in collaborative learning sessions to solve shared challenges encountered in the school
facilitated by the school head or a designated LAC Leader. LACs will become the school-based
communities of practice that are positive, caring, and safe spaces. It aims to develop and support
successful teachers by nurturing their knowledge, attitudes, and competencies in terms of curriculum,
instruction, and assessment in the school.

In regards to this strand , relevance and responsiveness of learning programs, kailangan nating malaman
that the successful teachers know and care for their students. Including learner diversity and student
inclusion in the LAC sessions emphasizes that learners are the reason for all education processes. It is
the central role of teachers to establish learning environments that are responsive to learner diversity. It
underscores the importance of teachers' knowledge and understanding of, as well as respect for,
learners' characteristics and experiences. We all know that , in a certain school or classroom, there are
diversity emanates from a variety of factors (which may be in combination) such as gender, community
membership, religious beliefs, family configurations, and special learning needs. Teachers who celebrate
diversity in their classrooms adjust and differentiate their instruction to include all learners and to foster
harmony in their class. Furthermore, learner inclusion requires that teachers provide remedial
instruction for those who are experiencing difficulties in learning lessons. Such interventions prevent
failure and communicate caring by the teacher for students.
- The highlight of this strand is that, to improve the teaching-learning process that will lead to
improved learning among the students; to nurture successful teachers; to enable teachers to support
each other to continuously improve their content and informative knowledge, practice, skills, and
attitudes; and to foster a professional collaborative spirit among school heads, teachers, and the
community as a whole.

concerning strategies that can enrich teaching practice.

PROFICIENT TEACHERS- They can participate in collegial discussions that use teacher and learner
feedback to enrich teaching practice.

And if a teacher is here, or in this stage of being, Highly Proficient Teachers- they can Review with
colleagues, teacher and learner feedback to plan, facilitate, and enrich teaching practice.

Lastly, Distinguished Teacher – They are the one who can Lead colleagues in professional discussions to
plan and implement strategies that enrich teaching practice.

ICT stands for Information and Communication Technologies. ICT is a part of our lives for the last
few decades affecting our society as well as individual life. ICT which is now broadly used in educational
world. Teacher, Student, administrator and every people related to education are popularly used ICT.
Teacher use ICT for making teaching learning process easy and interesting. A competent teacher has
several skills and techniques for providing successful teaching. So development and increase of skills and
competencies of teacher required knowledge of ICT and Science & Technology. In modern science and
technological societies education demands more knowledge of teacher regarding ICT and skills to use
ICT in teaching –learning process. The knowledge of ICT also required for pre-service teacher during
their training programme, because this integrated technological knowledge helps a prospective teacher
to know the world of technology in a better way by which it can be applied in future for the betterment
of the students. Now – adays ICT‟s are transforming schools and classrooms a new look by bringing in
new curriculum based on real world problems, projects, providing tools for enhancing learning,
providing teachers and students more facilities and opportunities for feedback. ICT also helps teachers,
students and parents to come together.
ICT helps teachers to interact with students. It helps them in preparation their teaching, provide
feedback. ICT also helps teachers to access with institutions and Universities, NCERT, NAAC
NCTE and UGC etc. It also helps in effective use of ICT software and hardware for teaching
– learning process.

ICTs can enhance the quality of education in several ways: by increasing learner motivation
and engagement, by facilitating the acquisition of basic skills, and by enhancing teacher
training. ICTs are also transformational tools which, when used appropriately, can promote the
shift to a learner-centered environment.

very important oday, because it is very much accurate, fast and can accomplish many tasks
easily.

In its simplest form, a professional development plan provides a framework


that identifies goals, resources, activities and learning opportunities
for growth. It also identifies milestones in terms of completion of goals and
objectives that help you assess progress toward your desired outcomes.
