A. Answer the following questions as precisely yet as thoroughly as possible

1. If you were an artist, what kind of artist would you be? Elaborate your answer.

If I were and artist I would be a photographer. I love photography because it allows me to express how I

feel about a situation. I'm romanticized by things, so if I can put significance to a moment or a place, I'll

do it. I have a hard time letting go of things, and photography is a wonderful method to preserve

memories. Despite the fact that there is so much content saturation, I believe that documentation is

necessary. I can't help but feel compelled to record my own unique viewpoint. This world is beautiful and

full of life, but time flies and the world moves at a breakneck speed. I just want to be able to save these

eternal photos and relive those moments long after the world has passed me by. One of my favorite

things is nostalgia. Looking back on past events gives me a pleasant kind of grief, or perhaps a dreadful

kind of happiness. I'm fascinated by the intricacy of deciding how I want to capture each photo. Maybe

it's because I prefer to be in charge, or maybe it's because I'm a detail freak. It's an art form that's gotten

so casual, rapid, and instantaneous, yet I prefer to take my time with it. To use photography as a way to

further enjoy and soak in the moment that I’m in, to capture beautiful people, beautiful places, beautiful

emotions, to pause time or at least attempts to and lastly I can use it to save all the things I'm afraid to

say out loud. That's just the few of the many reasons why I would like to be a photographer.

2. Choose one artwork under each category that you are familiar with.

 Category: Movie Artwork: “My Amanda”

My Amanda, a Netfix original is a tribute to such an enignatic love. TJ nicknamed Fuffy (Piolo

Pascual) and Amanda a.k.a Fream (Alessandra de Rossi) form a primarily platonic alliance in the

Filipino drama, even as they navigate personal relationship and challenges. It's a breath of fresh air to

watch this movie. It's said to be based on De Rossi's friend's genuine story. You wonder if something

like this might actually happen in the real world. It captures the remarkable personal moments of best

friends forever (Fuffy and Fream), who are mostly hilarious and irreverent but can be sad at times. As a

result, the tone is lighthearted, and the tempo isn't sluggish. Piolo Pascual's acting skills are on display

in his role as Fuffy, as usual. And Alessandra de Rossi is a delightful surprise, particularly given she is

making her directorial debut. She does a great job in the role of a gilded wife. Luz Valdez, who has

always been dependable, plays Fream's grandmother with conviction. The photos taken outside are

really impressive. It all comes to a shocking conclusion. The viewer understands why Fuffy is the

narrator of the film at this moment.

 Category: Music Artwork: Leaves by Ben&Ben

I chose Ben&ben's "Leaves" because it is about the mending and forgiveness process in a

relationship. The music video depicted a family with a strong link that was formed throughout the music

video until a significant loss or death of the mother caused a breach between the father and son. I like

the part that says “But in the end, what makes it worth the fight, that no matter what happened we try to

make it right,” because we should learn to forgive all the time just like the lyrics “You never really love

someone until you learn to forgive” suggests. In the end of the music video, Despite their difficulties in

their connection, the father and son in the song video allow time to fix and heal their scar till they are

more closer to each other than before.

I believe they composed the song in response to a devastating loss in a romantic connection that

crushed the writer's heart. As a result, no one could help him move forward except time. He has already

moved on by the time he is ready to forgive. That is why I believe they wrote the song to communicate

the lesson they had learned, which is that time heals.

 Category: A piece of clothing Artwork: Inabel

The inabel is one of the Philippines' many prides. The ilocano word for weave is "abel," thus

"inabel" can refer to any woven cloth. Cotton inabel fabric can be plain or patterned. The abel cloth is

well-known, and mycj adores it for its softness, beauty, and durability. Ilocos weavers use wooden pedal

looms with a variety of designs and techniques. The new generation of Ilocanos is being urged to

continue the inabel heritage. Weaving is not just a kind of art practiced by native Filipinos, but also a way

of life that can be traced back to the Spanish colonization.
