INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE CANDIDATES

1. The Admit Card is provisional, subject to fulfilment of the eligibility conditions as given in the Information Brochure.

2. No Candidate will be allowed to enter the Examination Centre without a valid Admit Card.

3. Candidates should verify the particulars printed in the Admit Card and bring to the notice of the OJEE authority, mistakes, if any, at
the OJEE Cell, Gandamunda, Bhubaneswar well in advance and on or before 2nd of Sept., 2021.

4. All candidates must carefully read the “Standard Operating Procedure” and “Instructions for the Candidates” given on this
Admit Card and strictly adhere to them.

5. The candidates are advised to visit their allotted Test Centre one or two days in advance to know the location of the Centre and
transportation facilities available to reach the Centre on time on the day of the examination to avoid last minute rush.

6. After downloading the Admit Card, the candidate must fill up the Declaration Form with correct information in legible handwriting,
paste his/her photograph (same as uploaded in the Application Form) and put the left-hand thumb impression at proper place. The
parent of the candidate should also sign the Declaration Form. However, the signature of the candidate has to be put on the day of
exam in the presence of the Invigilator.

7. The process of entry and movement of the candidates at the test venue has to be done in batches in accordance with COVID
guidelines and hence, will be time consuming. Therefore, the candidates must reach the test centre by the Reporting Time
mentioned on the Admit Card to avoid any crowding and to maintain social distancing.

8. It is mandatory for the candidate to come for the examination wearing a 3 ply cotton mask of proper design so as to completely
cover the mouth and nose, but not the ears. No candidate will be allowed entry without mask.

9. Candidates are advised to carry only the following items with them into the test venue :

I. Admit Card downloaded from OJEE website and printed clearly (preferably, in colour) on A4 size paper along with the Self
Declaration Form duly filled in.

II. Any one of the original and valid Photo Identification Proof issued by the Government : Aadhaar Card (with
photograph)/ (PAN card/ Driving License/ Voter ID/ Passport/ E-Aadhaar/ Ration Card/ Aadhaar Enrolment No. with
Photo). Any other photocopies, scanned copies, photos in print or electronic form will not be considered as valid ID Proof.

III. Additional photograph, to be pasted on attendance sheet

IV. A simple transparent Ball Point Pen

V. Personal hand sanitizer (50 ml)

VI. Personal transparent water bottle

10. If a candidate claims relaxation under PwD category, he/she must bring PwD certificate from competent authority. The scribe must
also carry his / her own valid Govt. ID proof, passport size photograph, undertaking regarding educational qualification etc.

11. Candidates are NOT allowed to carry to the Examination Centre any personal belongings including electronic devices, mobile
phone and other materials listed in the Information Brochure. Examination Officials will not be responsible for safe keep of any such
personal belongings.

12. No candidate shall be allowed to enter the test venue after the Gate Closing Time.

13. No candidate shall be permitted to leave the Examination Hall / Room before the end of the examination.

14. Candidates will be required to sanitize their hands by washing with soap and with Hand Sanitizer before entering the centre.

15. Candidates will find five blank sheets of paper on their desks in the exam hall. They should use them for rough work after writing
their name and Roll No. at the top of each sheet. They must drop these papers in the designated drop box at the end of the exam
before leaving the hall.

16. On completion of the examination, the candidate should not get up from the seat, but wait for instructions from the Invigilator. The
candidates will be guided to move out in a queue maintaining safe distance.

17. The candidate, after completion of the examination, must drop the Admit Card, duly filled in, in the designated drop box. Failure to
do so may result in non-evaluation of your answers.

18. The examination centers are under surveillance of CCTV and no Candidate should adopt any unfair means or indulge in any unfair
examination practices. If found, the candidature of such candidate may be cancelled without any notice.

19. Candidates are advised to check updates on OJEE website regularly. They should also check their mailbox on the registered E-
mail address and SMS in their registered Mobile No. for latest updates and information. Candidates can also find all the information
from OJEE 2021 Mobile App.

STANDARD OPERATING PROCEDURE FOR THE EXAMINATION

1. In compliance with COVID - 19 guidelines of Govt. of India and Govt. of Odisha, all necessary measures, with respect to hygiene
and social distancing, shall be taken at the test venues to ensure health and convenience of the candidates. The candidates and
their parents are requested to extend their full cooperation to the examination authority in this regard.

2. In all the Test Centres, only 50% of the total seating capacity will be utilized such that the gap between consecutive candidates will
be maintained as per guidelines of Govt. of India.

3. In case, any candidate appears to have high body temp or any other COVID symptom, he/she will be allowed to appear the exam in
a specially created isolated hall, provision for which (@ 5% of capacity) will be made available in each test venue.

4. Before the beginning of each shift, the entire test venue including exam halls, door handles, lift switches, railings etc. will be
disinfected.

5. Again, before the beginning of each shift, the seating area of each candidate, including chair, desk, monitor, keyboard, mouse etc.
will be thoroughly sanitized.

6. All the candidates will be mandatorily required to come wearing 3 ply masks and will be advised to bring small transparent container
of sanitizer liquid.

7. All the Invigilators and associated staff will be provided with masks and gloves.

8. A space of at least 6 feet between the candidates is to be maintained at all times. Queue Managers, ropes and floor marks will be
arranged at the test venues at proper places.

9. Candidates will be required to sanitize their hands by washing with soap and with Hand Sanitizer before entering the centre.

10. Hand Sanitizers will be made available at entry and at various places inside the exam venue for use by the candidates and the staff.

11. The entire examination process will be made contactless to ensure the norms of social distancing.

12. Body temperature of the candidates will be checked at the entry point using Thermo Guns.

13. The barcode on the admit card of the candidate will be verified by the staff using barcode readers without touching the card.

14. Before entering the exam lab, standard frisking of the candidates will be done using handheld metal detector (without touching
body).

15. Lab number for allotment of seat will be individually informed to the candidate at the entry and no display board will be used to avoid
crowding at such points.

16. Before start of the exam, five number of blank sheets of paper will be kept on the desk of each candidate for doing rough work.

17. Staff will be deployed at appropriate locations to guide the candidates moving into and out of the test centre maintaining, all along,
the norms of social distancing.
