“Hacking the online Scammers who tricked us!”

Technology is very useful for us nowadays because the most common purpose of Technology
is to improve the lives of mankind. Actually, it’s very important to know about the advantages and
disadvantages of modern technology. Today’s world is technological. Everywhere we can find that
technology is used, and that can be very helpful for us, but technology also has a lot of bad effects and
disadvantages, without us knowing how it affects our lives badly. There is no such field in the world in
which technology is not involved. In every kind of field, technology is involved. That’s why it’s very
important to know how technology or every things affect our lives.

In this present time, there are already many people who act like they are technicians and
experts about technology when other people need help because of technology problems, and these people
are so called scammers. Scammers are people who commits fraud or participates in a dishonest scheme.
The scammer tricks you into handing over your personal information, scammers can also obtain your
information when they hack into business or government accounts, and scammers tricks you into giving
access to your computer and paying for a service you don't need. They scam people to earn more money
from them, why would they even do that? I mean, I don’t get it, it’s very wrong to lie and steal from other
people, plus, scamming is very illegal. Hundreds of thousands of people fall victim to scams, many are
run from criminal call centres, where teams of fraudsters operate around the clock. Scamming many
people can’t do good on you, it cannot give you permanent prizes, it cannot benefit you, and especially, it
can’t bring good effects in your life. Doing that just makes you so immature.

Using technology might be easier for the scammers to scam people online and steal their
money endlessly, but having these so called scambaiters can stop their frauds and bad schemes, and they
are able to stop the scammers and their scheme plan. Having them is a great pleasure because of their
ability that exposes scammers planning to scam people by making phone calls and pop-up advertisements
in many websites. Scam baiting (or scambaiting) is a form of Internet vigilantism primarily used towards
advance-fee fraud, IRS impersonation scam, technical support scams, pension scams, and consumer
financial fraud. Scambaiters may document scammers' tools and methods, warn potential victims, provide
discussion forums, disrupt scammers' devices and systems using remote access trojans and computer
viruses, or take down fraudulent webpages. Some scambaiters are motivated by a sense of civic duty,
some simply engage for their own amusement, and some are motivated by racism, or some combination
of the three. Jim Browning, one of the most known scambaiters. He has the ability to scambait the
scammers by posing as potential victims to waste the time and resources of scammers, gather information
useful to authorities, and publicly expose scammers. That’s why we need those people who is known as
scambaiters because they exposes scammers and I’m totally amazed by them, but as Jim Browning said,
scambaiting is also wrong and is very illegal. Just as it is illegal to steal from a thief, it is illegal to hack a
hacker. Criminals are often considered a good target for crimes from a practical standpoint, but crimes
against criminals are still prosecuted.

Actually, I am so honored and grateful to have these geniuses in the field of technology to help
stop the scammers. That’s why technology is a very big help for all of us, but we should use it responsibly
and in the right way. Just like what they say, “Technology isn’t bad, we just need to do it better.”
