The Mineline® MHS Secondary Cleaner with Service Advantage Cartridge™ is
a slide-out cartridge cleaner designed to be quickly, easily and safely serviced.
It can be used in a variety of applications including underground and surface
coal, hard rock, power plant and load-out facilities. Using the same
Slide-Out Service™ technology found on the Flexco line of DRX™
impact beds, the patent pending Service Advantage Cartridge is the
next generation of service-friendly cleaners. Seeing action in more
than 3,000 applications around the world for more than six
years, the MHS secondary cleaner is a proven name within the
underground and surface coal industry.

Fast Removal, Plus Easy Access, Equals Safe,

Superior Performance.
The Service Advantage Cartridge can slide out from one side of the conveyor or
chute wall for inspection, service, or replacement by a single worker in only a matter
of minutes. While other manufacturers offer slide-out cartridge-type secondary
belt cleaners, many of those units develop performance problems operating in dirty
environments and become difficult to remove and service. The Service Advantage
Cartridge can be easily removed and replaced, even in the dirtiest conditions. The
cartridge has minimal interface with the pole so that the surfaces can’t corrode and
fuse together. Its Slide-Out Service makes it ideal for tight spaces and improves safety
by avoiding workers crawling underneath the conveyor or getting into dangerous
spaces. Being able to simply remove a pin, slide out the blade cartridge from a safe
position and quickly replace it with a new or rebuilt blade cartridge saves you time, Using the cartridge removal tool, the Service Advantage
money… and a lot of headaches. Cartridge™ is easily removed for service.

Having a true slide-out cartridge cleaner reduces service time and saves maintenance
costs. The cartridge is equipped with tough carbide-tipped blades for long wear and
superior cleaning efficiency. Patented PowerFlex™ segmented cushion design has two
tensioning elements for independent control adjustment of each blade to the belt for
efficient, thorough cleaning. A limited space SST Spring Tensioner provides a “visual
tension-check” feature, making it easy to check the blade tension and if necessary,
bring the blades back to optimal tension. An oversized pole and heavy-duty,
corrosion-resistant steel parts stand up to the rigorous environment of high-duty
cycles and high-speed beltlines.
