Dear Sirs,
Invitation to bid for Management and Collection of revenue froom Moto Moto
and Casual Brew Lira858/Wrk/2020-2021/00004.
1. Lira City Council intends to procure Management and Collection of revenue
froom Moto Moto and Casual Brew.
2. The Entity invites your sealed bids for the provision of the above works.
3. Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the restricted domestic bidding method
contained in the Government of Uganda’s Public Procurement and Disposal of Public
Assets Act, 2003.
4. This letter of invitation has also been addressed to the following
shortlisted/prequalified bidders:
5. You may obtain further information from the Entity and inspect the bidding documents
at the address given below at 9(a) from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 pm, working hours.
6. Bidding documents in English may be obtained from the address in 9(b) upon payment
of Ugx: 50,000 (fifty thousand shillings) a non-refundable fee to Lira City Council General
Fund Account No. 2291049747 with KCB Bank – Lira Branch. Lira City Council originally
printed bank deposit slips are available with the City cashier, who will in turn after
payment in the bank issue you with a general receipt acknowledging payment.

7. Bids must be delivered to the address below at 9(c), at or before 10:00a.m


on the 10th December, 2020.
. Late bids shall be rejected. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders’
representatives who choose to attend at the address below at 9(d) at 10:30 am on the
1st December, 2020.
8. There shall not be a pre – bid meeting.
9. (a) Documents may be inspected at: Procurement & Disposal Unit
(b) Documents will be issued from: Procurement & Disposal Unit
(c) Bids must be delivered to: Head Procurement & Disposal Unit
(d) Address of bid opening: Lira City Council Health board room.
10. Please inform us, upon receipt:
(a) that you received the letter of invitation; and
(b) whether, you will submit a bid .
