ABOUT OREGONFEST
Oregonfest takes place on the third Sunday in May and occupies both sides of Dustin road from the
Library to Harbor Drive. It is comprised of three parts – amusements, a community plant exchange, and
the main event on Sunday where we feature local businesses, amusements, community organizations,
and then end with the grand parade in the evening.
The amusements have brought in approximately 2000 attendees each day – generating a profit of about
$5000 each fest. Oregonfest relies on these funds as we are dependent on self-generated income and
community partnered sponsorships.
EVENT DETAILS
Oregonfest will be hosting their annual fundraising amusements on September 18 th & 19th 2021.
Suggested hours have been 11am to 8pm for both days. We are seeking to occupy the paved and grassy
space at 1001 Issac Road (formerly the Mercy Rehab Building) as well as designated parking areas
marked in the attached map.
In partnership with the City of Oregon – we will have security from Oregon PD, EMS from Oregon FD,
restrooms/traffic barriers/road closures for pedestrian safety through Oregon Streets Department.
Along with amusement rides, there will be food stands – three in total. The amusements vendor – Ron
Able with D&R Shows – is fully capable of running on his own generators and does not need electrical
assistance for this event.
SPONSORSHIP DETAILS
We understand that this request comes at a cost to Mercy in both staffing and other logistics. Oregonfest
traditionally has multiple sponsors – some donate money and others are sponsors in kind – those who
donate time/space/materials in exchange for publicity rights.
Should Mercy/St. Charles grant us use of their property, we can offer multiple publicity and public
awareness opportunities within the greater Oregon area. Mercy/St. Charles will be our Premiere Sponsor
for our amusements which grants them top billing on any publicity materials, printed signage, volunteer
shirts, as well as any other publicity requested including booths at the event or other exposure.
