Objectives

General objective:

To evaluate the outcome in patients with acute epidural hematoma in the

department of causality and trauma center of Al-Gamhouria Modern General

Hospital for the period from 1st January to 31st December 2014.

Specific objectives:

1. To state the demographic and clinical characteristics of patients with

acute traumatic epidural hematoma.

2. To determine the distribution of patients according to the level of

consciousness, time interval between arrival and intervention,

intraoperative findings and hospitalization.

3. To determine the Glasgow Outcome Scale and it relation to other

factors in the studied patients.
