Goal/s:

 To mitigate the number of absences due to internet outage

 To help with the burden of paying for emergency back up internet
 To make sure that ICs of SMART apartment data render the full 8 hours of shift required of them, even
during an internet outage

Effectiveness Check: Weekly Attendance check

Considerations:

 In the event that an agent or Independent Contractor (IC)’s main internet connection fails, he/she should
have a prepaid back up internet that he/she can easily load
 SMART will reimburse said back up internet’s load up for up to 5x a month or Php 500 pesos, whichever
comes first.
 The IC is responsible in sending his/her immediate supervisor the necessary proof of purchase for internet
data load.
 Data load will not be reimbursed should the immediate supervisor find fault in the documentation or
should the IC fail to submit it within the day of the internet outage happening.
 Reimbursement is done monthly and should be indicated on the next month’s 15 th cut off invoice.
 Should the IC’s main internet connection fails too much in a month, the Attendance Policy for Internet
Outage would take effect.
