Network Cable

Description : Networking cables are networking hardware used to connect one network

device to other network devices or to connect two or more computers to
share printers, scanners etc. Different types of network cables, such as coaxial cable, optical
fiber cable, and twisted pair cables, are used depending on the network's physical
layer, topology, and size. The devices can be separated by a few meters (e.g. via Ethernet)
or nearly unlimited distances (e.g. via the interconnections of the Internet).

Importance: Network cables are necessary to connect and transfer data and other
information between computers, routers, and storage systems. Network cables are like
veins in the human body. In network hardware the network cable is much important
because it use to be a bridge to connect to other even there’s a wireless connection network
cable has a lot of advantages like hacker can’t intercept the connection also network cable
can transfer data faster than wireless connection.

Uses and Function: As mentioned above, a Network cable is use to transfer data and
connect to other network device like computer, router and servers. Network cable used in
the LAN setup a lot like computer shop or home setup.
