COURSE DESCRIPTION:

A study of the different rules of statutory construction to prepare the student as


he or she attempts to discover and understand the meaning of the provisions of
the Constitution, various statutes, and the latter’s implementing rules. Before
studying the different rules of construction, this course will first equip the
student with sufficient knowledge about the process of lawmaking and the
hierarchy and classification of laws.
