Study the future developments of ONE (1) of the following Mobile and Wireless Network
Technologies (but not limited to the mentioned below) and write a report that reflects the impact
of Mobile and Wireless Technology on society. Also, the report should discuss Mobile and
Wireless Network Technologies limitations and suggest an idea to overcome the limitations.
 Worldwide interoperability for Microwave Access(WiMax)
 Long Term Evaluation(LTE)
 Internet of Things(IoT)
 Wireless Sensor Technologies
 Light Fidelity(Li-Fi)
 Other Current Technologies
Section B: Group Work

Wireless networks are becoming faster, more affordable and easier to adopt than ever. Growing
small businesses that have adopted a wireless solution are already reporting immediate paybacks
in higher productivity, flexible application mobility and greater worker satisfaction. A wireless
infrastructure can make it easier to reconfigure your office space as your company grows and
changes. Also, the total cost of a wireless local area network (LAN) is relatively inexpensive--it's
become very affordable nowadays.

Assuming your team has been appointed as a network consultant to deploy a wireless LAN in a
SOHO (Small Office/Home Office) environment that houses 10 employees and 20 to 30
computers intended for use to access the internet as well as to use software such as word
processors and spreadsheet.

Your team has been asked to produce a technical report that details the fundamental requirements of the
facility. The report should cover THREE areas which are outlined below:

d) Site survey and other related considerations for deploying Wireless LAN
e) Hardware and Software requirements, considerations, and justifications
f) Monitoring and Maintenance considerations

Diagrams and figures are highly encouraged to substantiate and complement the facts included.
