No Longer Home (《我穿上紅色絲襪就有責任》) is a body of work centers around

the power dynamic and violence behind. The work encompasses three staged
photographs and an installation. Chan started the project after a long process of
precipitation from July 2020. Photographing himself, he is the only participant
inside these photos to illustrate that everyone can both be dominant and
submissive. In rethinking the similar power dynamic of BDSM, he uses eroticism
to convey violence and power dynamic in alternate situations.

Abyss (《深淵》) is an video work capturing the desperation of Hong Kong people.
He thinks that people immerse themselves in cinematic fantasy, but imaginary
remains imaginary. He combines various scenes from Hong Kong and Japanese
films to reconstruct a 5-minute story of a man who works to survive. California
Dreaming runs through the first half of the video, symbolizing the forever-gone
memories before becoming an adult who bears the pressure of living and working.

people after going over 2 years social movements. Instead of documenting visible
incidents, Herman decided to docmument the emotion change of people, and the
vibe change of the movements. With a lot of high black and white contrasts vague
images as he wanted to make them more like fragments in people’s mind.

Voices Archives (《剩下聲音》) is a photo series of aftermath and landscapes
taken during the protest. Instead of providing a subjective opinion through
photography, he wants people to feel the yelling, shouting, and talking and
interpret with their own ways. The documentational piece also addresses and
rethink the manipulation of media.
