At the end of the lesson the learners should be able to:


1. Outlines the organs and specific function of the Respiratory System
2. Illustrate the process of Respiration using a creative Graphic Organizer
3. Realize the importance of a healthy and Balance daily living

Unit 1 – Module 1, pp. 1-6

C. Materials: Laptop, Powerpoint, Pictures

D. Values Integrated: Collaboration, Respect and Punctuality

III. Procedure:

A. Daily Routine: Classroom Conditioning, Prayer, Greetings, Checking of


Attendance, Checking of Assignments

B. Motivation: Student will play the Four Pics 1 Word

C. Presentation: Some students will be asked to portray the activity posted

D. Lesson Proper:

A. ACTIVITIES:

 Present the Different organs of the Respiratory System and how they function

 Describe the movement of the air in and out of the body

B. ANALYSIS:

 How does each organ work as they perform their functions


 State the importance a healthy living in the function of the organs

C. ABSTRACTION:

 In-Depth knowledge in the Respiration Process

 Appreciating the importance of knowing the importance of healthy living in achieving


healthy respiratory System

E. Application:

 Divide the class into four groups

 Give them the photos of the organs

 Let them arrange it

 Present the system with proper definition

F. Generalization:

The respiratory system promotes the exchange of gases between the air and the blood, as well as
between the blood and the body's cells, by breathing, inhalation, and exhalation. The respiratory
system also aids in the production of sound and the ability to smell. The five major functions of
the respiratory system are listed below.

 The major airway to the lungs is the trachea.


 Bronchi are the airways that allow air to enter and exit the lungs.
 Lungs are the structures responsible for gas exchange between our bodies and the air we
breathe.
 External respiration takes place in alveoli, which are small air sacs.
 The diaphragm is a fundamental muscle in the physical act of breathing.
