East West University Should Introduce Online Classes Regularly
   
East West University has started online classes due to the pandemic caused by the
Coronavirus. However, as as beneficial it seems, it has some bad sides too such as
technical issues and no interaction between students and teacher.
 
 
 
An online class can be interrupted by some technical issues such as interrupting the
internet, load shedding, and expensive device. It requires internet and a technical
device such as mobile, tablet and computer. Those technical devices are not cheap
as people think. Many people have to face financial problems to gather those
devices. The internet is also required in online classes. We know the network
situation is so weak in so many places in Bangladesh. So much this interrupts the
class. Load-shedding also interrupts the class. We know technical devices such as
computers require electricity. It becomes so problematic when load-shedding
occurs during the class.
 
 
Online classes are virtual. A teacher can teach one from his/her home. But it does
not have the interaction as offline classes. Online classes have certain problems
such as not learning properly, social interaction, and no practical lab. One cannot
learn properly from online classes as offline classes. Some students do not ask
questions due to shyness in online classes. There is no practical or physical lab on
online class. So, the student cannot learn properly. Students also do not have any
social connection with other students. 
 
 
 
One can argue that online classes are best for learning because one can attend the
class from anywhere but one should keep in mind that the purpose of learning
properly is not to learn from any places. Some might say that one can have good
learning by doing classes from anywhere but that is not true. A classroom is a
perfect place for learning because at home, one can be distracted or one is not as
attentive as in the classroom. So, learning from anywhere in online classes is not as
good as offline.
 
Like any other thing, online classes also have contradictions. East-West University
is taking online classes due to pandemics but it should not be permanent because it
would produce many problems for many students.
