University offers the option of Semester abroad in multiple programmes as mentioned under the

head ‘Programme details’ of Part-B of Prospectus 2021. The following clauses will be applicable:-

Requisites & Conditions for Semester Exchange:

1. Requisites

 6.5 above CGPA

 No backlog
 No reappearances
 No pending indiscipline case on the student

 A valid Passport with more than six months of expiry

 English Proficiency test (if Required)
 Sufficient funds to manage visa, airfare and living expenses
2. Conditions
 Fulfill all eligibility requirements of LPU and partner foreign university

 Fulfilling the documents and other requirements for application of the visa of the
respective country.

 Semester abroad would eventually depend on the condition that student meets all or
the required criteria as applicable. The student would also have to meet the pre-
conditions, if any, of the partner university.
 Student has to apply & fulfill the visa requirements of the host/ visiting country to
be visited for the purpose of semester abroad, as applicable when he/ she will
opt for such option at a later stage. The visa requirements of the host countries
where the partner/ receiving universities are situated, can vary and can also be
different from what it is today and the university will not be liable for any thing
that may be caused due to such variation and/or changes.
 It is the responsibility of the student to submit all the documents required in form
of affidavit, indemnity bond, undertaking and all other documents with the
authentication and attestation of the Judicial/ Executive/ Magistrate/ Notary or
other authorities as prescribed by the University preceding to the semester in which
student has to go abroad or when required by the University.
 Student and/ or his Parents / Guardian may have to complete certain formalities /
documentations including but not limited to undertaking, indemnity bond etc. as &
when demanded by the University.
 The Visa obtained for the purpose of semester abroad option cannot be used for
any other purpose other than the mentioned purpose.
  In case student does not comply with procedure of applying to foreign university
under semester abroad option as defined by the University from time to time
then he/she will automatically be made ineligible for the program in foreign
university and will not be eligible for any refund whatsoever and second chance.
 Students are required to have valid passport with at least six months validity.
Semester abroad option will be as per the norms of regulatory bodies of India and of host country
as well as any other international or national organization.
