TRAFFIC REGULATION ON CERTAIN STREETS OF BARANGAY 11, MALAYBALAY CITY,
AND PRESCRIBING PENALTIES FOR VIOLATION THEREOF.”

WHEREAS, the orderly flow of traffic and removal of illegally parked vehicles is necessary to
give way quickly to emergency response vehicles to arrive on time especially during fire and
evacuation, as well as during emergency situations like sending a resident to hospital;

WHEREAS, there was an increase in the number of vehicles that passes through Lope
Damasco Street, Barangay 11, which causes continues traffic problems;

WHEREAS, there is an imperative need to eradicate and/or remove the causes of traffic
accidents along __________Street, Barangay 11.

WHEREAS, there is a necessity to implement a traffic scheme to maintain peace and order in
the community and streets within Barangay 11.

NOW THEREFORE, be it enacted by the Sangguniang Barangay of Barangay 11, Malaybalay

City that:

Section 1. TITLE OF THE ORDINANCE. This ordinance shall be known as “Traffic Scheme
Ordinance of Barangay 11”.

Section 2. SCOPE AND COVERAGE.

A. No Parking Zone shall be observed on the following streets;

a. Lope Damasco Street;
b. Zone 3
c. DJ Bakery
 B. One Way Traffic Direction shall be observed on the following streets;
a. Entrance of Barangay 11Street – with traffic direction from Camp Bahian Street to
b. Baclaan Entry

C. One Side Parking shall be observed on the following streets;

a. Zone 3

D. Regulated One Way Traffic Direction shall be observed in Lope Damasco Street from
8:00am to 12:00pm and

Section 4. PARKING PROHIBITED ON SPECIFIED PLACES. No driver shall park a vehicle,

or permit to stand, whether attended or unattended, upon a highway in any of the following
places:
a. Within an intersection;
b. On a crosswalk;
c. Within six meters of the intersection of curb lines;
d. In front of a driveway;
e. And at any place where official signs have been erected prohibiting parking.

Section 4. DEPUTATION. Authorized personnel to implement this ordinance are:

a. Punong Barangay;
b. Barangay Kagawad on Peace and Order;
c. Barangay Public Safety Officer;

Section 4. PENALTIES. Violators of this Ordinance shall be penalized as follows:

First Offense Fine of Php500.00

Second Offense Fine of Php800.00

Third Offense Fine of Php1,000.00

Section 5. INSTALLATION OF SIGNAGE TRAFFIC SCHEME. The Barangay 11 is hereby

mandated to install Traffic Signage indicating that the street is regulated to inform motorist,
drivers, vehicle owners and public in general.

Section 6. SEPARABILITY CLAUSE. If only for any reason, any provision of this Ordinance is
declared invalid or unconstitutional, other parts or provisions hereof shall continue to be in full
force and effect.

Section 7. EFFECTIVITY. This ordinance shall take effect upon the approval by the City
Council and after posting of copies in the Barangay Hall and three (3) other conspicuous
places in the Barangay, which occurs later.

ENACTED AND APPROVED this __day of ______, 2021 at Barangay 11, Malayalay City,
Bukidnon.
