Objective

I am seeking a senior position in Projects/Supply Chain in a challenging but rewarding environment, a place that not only

Projects Expediting Engineer
Review the scope of supply of the purchase order, required on site dates, and vendor’s historical performance
for different packages and disciplines including Piping, EI&T, Structural, bulks and Static/Rotary Equipment.
Arrange and participate in post award Kick Off Meetings An Pre Inspection Meetings to discuss vendor’s
engineering and manufacturing schedule, vendor document requirement and submission dates, preliminary
key documents, communication protocols, progress reporting and project formats. Identify possible execution
bottlenecks and explore mitigation plans.
Update the Project Manager of order progression. expected delays and impact this will have on the project after
consultation with the construction manager and project planning. suggest remedial action and identify the relevant
cost.
Maintain records reflecting summary of vendor contacts, progress expediting visits, inspection and expediting
reports, order completion status.
Advise vendor with invoicing instructions in line with the purchase order terms and conditions. Verify vendor
invoices for payment against progress milestones. Advise vendor and accounts payable of any discrepancies.
Carry out field expediting trips to verify order progress, resolve technical bottlenecks and bring back order on track.
Liaise with Logistics team and Material control team to close out ESDR reports.
Managed Site Construction activities and subcontractors scope of work in relation to discipline.
Oversaw quality control plans and ensured compliance to project specifications. issuance of none conformance
reports and closure of the same following corrective action.
Controlled man power distribution in accordance with available work fronts. project mile stones and other
discipline's requirements.
Provided Technical solutions for foundations and underground systems where necessary. in coordination with
design teams.
Active involvement in Jihar GTP -Syria, ASAB FFD -UAE and TMG GFD-Turkmenistan.
