What is the scope of the study? This study gathered about the respondent’s socio- demographic data
which includes the education, marital status, employment and income. I will also use the survey
questionnaire and interviews as the instrument in gathering data. Additionally, I choose 100
respondents were there are 50 parents in two selected urban barangays and another 50 respondents in
two selected rural barangays in Irosin, Sorsogon.
What is the significance of the study? This study would be beneficial to the stakeholders who are part
of child’s development. These are the parents, teachers, curriculum planner, and future researchers
that will give them the awareness and knowledge about children.
Did you bridge any gap from your study? In the past study, researcher focuses on how children acquire
and learn writing skills. But on the current study that I am investigating are about on the perception of
parents which is to understand, motivate and provide a developmentally appropriate technique and
strategies.
Why do you think your research is reliable? The study is reliable due to the threats that are researcher
encounter which includes the participants error, participant bias, research error and researcher bias
hence I manage and recognize the mistake.
Why do you think your research is valid? The study is generalized and relevant to the current issues.
The researchers conducted to various barangays urban and rural.
In what way(s) does your research project contributes to knowledge? This study contributes to
society, curricularists, educators, parents and student to broaden and have deeper understanding on
teaching writing.
If you could change something regarding your study, what would it be?
supported your findings what areas will you suggest for future research?
What are your research variables? Based on the theoretical framework that I made, the parent’s
perception, learner’s readiness and approach are the factors that affect the writing development of a
child.
How would you relate your findings to existing theories on the study?
