    IBM-MBCET MoU for setting up IBM Speciality Lab in Emerging Technologies

    College has signed an MoU with IBM India Pvt Ltd for conducting internationally valid training
    courses for students the topics of Cyber Security, Data Science and Artificial Intelligence. The
    average duration for each course will be 50 hours which will include 25 % concepts, 35 %
    technologies and 40 % group work activities. Each lecture will be approx.90 min and every lab will be
    for approx. 120 min. The group work activities contain different industry case studies and every use
    case would require approx. 16 hours group work.

    Benefits of the course include improving the prospects of students for a global career using live
    industry cases, availability of IBM software tools for training as part of the program, workforce

    Digital IBM Badges on completion of course by IBM.

    College shall use the study materials prescribed by IBM India and conduct the courses on
    campus/online. Practical sessions shall also be conducted as per the training curriculum. The Joint
    Co-ordination Committee for the Skills Academy Program will be as mentioned.
