change resilient India.

Points to be considered :
 Start your essay by explaining Climate change and it's impact on
Globe and specifically on India.
 Now mention about the climate changes in India and its different
parts.
 Indian Government has come up with various schemes, projects and
proposals for the welfare of climate and environment.
 National Electric Mobility Mission Plan - switch from internal
combustion engine to electric and hybrid engines
 National Action Plan on Climatic Change - address the future
policies and mission for climate mitigation and adaptation.
 National Mission for “green India - afforestation of 6 million
hectares of degraded forest lands and expanding forest cover
from 23% to 33% of India’s territory.
 National Mission for Sustainable Agriculture - The plan aims to
support climate adaptation in agriculture through the
development of climate-resilient crops, expansion of weather
insurance mechanisms, and agricultural practices.
 National River Linkage etc.
 Conclude sutaibly like "ALTERNATIVE TECHNOLOGIES can provide
solutions to climatic issues in INDIA and world. CLIMATE CHANGE
CANNOT BE CHANGED BY A SINGLE PLAN OR INITIATIVES, BY THE
GOVERNMENT. IT SHOULD BE DONE BY INDIVIDUALS. START
PLANTING PLANTS AND PROTECT OUR ENVIRONMENT.."

2.Farming has lost the ability to be a source


of subsistence for majority of farmers in
India.

Points to be considered :

 Start your Essay with some factual data regarding farmers in India -
India is a tropical country which best suits for agriculture. Even 80%
of its population depends on that. And 72% of farmers are doing in
small scale. Farming is a part of agriculture, since it does not involve
that much technology, capital investment and it does only to satisfy
local markets.
 Also mention Agriculture's role in Modern world like - 'Agriculture
plays an important sector in Indian economy as it contributes over
17% of Indian economy and ensures employment for 60% of its
population. India exports nearly $38 billion dollar worth of
agricultural products and making India, the largest agricultural
exporter worldwide.'
 Now write about some initiatives of Indian Governments to improve
the conditions of farmers.
 Now mention why Indian Farmers are suffering when there are so
many initiatives - Lack of knowledge by the farmers to cultivate right
crop at the right time; The weather unpredictability; dependency on
Monsoon; Many of the farmers, does not get proper guidance for
the usage of fertilizers, weedicides; The lack of warehouse and the
lack of govt’s interest to directly purchase the produced goods;
initiatives given by the Govt. is not receiving the farmers at the end
Etc..
