Dated: 29.08.2021
Subject: Schedule for Conduct of Written Examination with respect to the Non-Teaching Posts
(advertised vide Empl. Advt. No. DU No. Estab.IV/290/2021 Dated: 23.02.2021).
The Candidates who have applied online for different Non-Teaching Posts in University of Delhi
(DU), in response to the above mentioned advertisement, are hereby informed the following : -
1. The Date and Timing of Examination for respective Posts will be as notified in Annexure-1.
2. The Admit Card containing the date, timing, Exam Centre, Instructions etc. for the Exam to be
conducted for each of the Posts, will be issued online to the Candidates concerned 07 days before
the date of exam. The Candidates would be intimated through a separate Public Notice to be
issued on the Websites : https://recruitment.nta.nic.in / www.du.ac.in, for downloading their
respective Admit Cards.
3. The Candidates are advised to go through the Scheme of Examination (as provided in Section D
of the Information Brochure & Guidelines which is available for above mentioned websites) for :
number and details of the papers, duration of the exam, maximum marks per paper, syllabus,
manner and mode for drawing final merit list, etc.
4. The MCQ Paper will be held in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode and the Descriptive Paper
(wherever applicable) shall be in pen-paper mode wherein the candidates will have to write the
responses on answer scripts at the respective centre.
5. The Question Paper for CBT will be bilingual (English & Hindi). The responses for the descriptive
paper can be given in Hindi or English, depending on the medium opted by the candidate.
Further, the medium of responses has to be the same for both the papers, wherever applicable.
6. The Candidates, who have applied for Laboratory Cadre Posts viz. Senior Technical Assistant
(P0613), Technical Assistant (P0508), Laboratory Assistant (P0409) and Laboratory Attendant
(P0103), are required to provide the Department(s) for which they wish to apply. Provision is
being made through NIC for capturing this input from concerned Candidate(s) in their respective
Online Application Form. The period during which the concerned Candidates would be able to
indicate the Department(s) in their Online Application Form, that would be notified through a
separate Public Notice to be issued in this regard on the above mentioned websites. The names of
the Departments to which these vacant posts belong are mentioned in the Information Bulletin
available on the website (https://recruitment.nta.nic.in) and (www.du.ac.in).
7. For the posts mentioned at Sr. No. 5, relevant alternatives will be given with respect to Section (i)
General Science of the Paper-I to the Candidates based on the Department for which they would
apply for the respective post, in accordance with the Scheme of Examination prescribed for the
same.
8. Further, some of the Shifts as per the Annexure-I have multiple posts having same structure of
the question paper as per the scheme of examination prescribed for the same. For theses posts
the first Sections of the Paper-I and Paper-II (wherever applicable) will have relevant alternatives
for the Candidates to the respective trade / profile which could be from General Administration,
Medicine related fields, engineering related field, Horticulture and Sports.
