OBJECTIVES

At the end of the 3day workshop, the participants will be able to:

1. design a blueprint in directing the course of action of the student’s learning in the
work setting.

2. conceptualize strategies in meeting the learning needs of the students in preparation


for hands-on experience in the industry assigned

3. cascade the blueprint corresponding to the student’s track in any given setting.

4. endeavor to bring forth high degree of competence and professionalism among


teachers to effectively implement the course.

5. acknowledge the full implications and responsibilities in the supervision of the


students in the work setting irrespective of academic and TVL tracks

EXPECTED OUTPUT
At the end of the 3day workshop, the participants should have devised:

1. learning tools in enhancing student’s competence in their field of specialization.

2. blueprint for teachers in directing, supervising and evaluating the student’s


learning in achieving set goals.

3. standard instrument in conducting objective and effective evaluation of student’s


performance.

4. survey tool in identifying and addressing issues and concerns encountered during
the duration of student’s exposure in the work setting.

A. Procedure for group work
i. Select group facilitator, rapporteur and recorder and define respective
roles
ii. Role of the facilitator
1. Establish ground rules or expectations on how to approach and
accomplish a given task
2. Develop clear set of instruction
3. Set time limits
4. Break complex tasks into smaller tasks
5. Provide careful discussion on answering specific questions and
rationale
6. Maintain role as facilitator and be an active listener during the
activity
7. Exercise flexibility. Observe the activity closely by providing
assistance or direction as needed to keep track on the assignment.
8. Provide closure. Report and discuss the result of the activity.
9. Allot for reflection and feedback
10.Encourage the group members to fully engaged on the assign
topic.
iii. Role of Recorder
1. Takes notes
2. Summarizes group discussions and decisions

4. Submit completed work with the documentation committee
iv. Role of Rapporteur
1. Summarizes group discussions, activities and conclusions
2. Serves as spokesperson during group presentation

B. Design teaching and learning tools for teachers and students in the work
setting (Use the format as embedded in the DepEd curriculum guide)
i. Tools for Work Immersion learning experiences in both academic and
TVL tracks with respective strand. Include venues for each strand.
ii. Work Immersion Performance Evaluation
iii. Survey Tool on Action Plan for Work Immersion Teacher and Work
Immersion Partner Institution Supervisor in assessing student’s progress
and concern
iv. Student Self- assessment on Work Immersion Learning Experience

C. Submit corrected (final draft) to the documentation committee after each


presentation. The documentation committee is in charge of preparing the final
draft. Each school can avail of the complete workshop proceedings for
implementation.
D. Furnish the office of the Mayor and Vice Mayor the complete workshop
proceedings.
