BIBLE VERSES ATTACHED TO TEACHERS

The bible is the source of deeper knowledge about God. It is both for religious purposes and understanding of its
content. It serves as a standard in every man’s life. There are several professions that exist in the world and the bible
gives messages and lessons in our everyday living. 
Below are some verses stipulated from the Bible that are dedicated to teachers.
1. PROVERBS 22:6 – “Train up a child in the way he should go and when he is old, he will not depart from it.”
A child should learn both basics of life and life dealings. A child also should be taught the most valuable things and the
most practical means of dealing with the environment. Apparently, a child spends most of the time in school thus, the
teacher plays a major role in bringing up a child in the right path.
2. PSALM 100:2 – “Serve with the Lord with gladness……..”
Teachers have passion in teaching and it becomes easier to them for they love what they are doing. They do their job
with a light heart, a smile on their lips and a glowing face reflecting happiness.
3. HEBREW 13:16 – “But to do well and to communicate forget not…..”
Communication truly helps our teachers improve their skills. They are willing to learn by opening the lesson strategically
and logically. Talking also to their students in a friendly way is a good start so that they will comfortable and respect
their teachers.
4. PROVERBS 1:5 – “Wise man will hear and will increase learning.”
Learning is a continuous process. It never stops. To increase their learning, teachers read books, watch educational
programs, participate actively in seminars and workshops and initiate post graduate course so that they can share more
what they have learned. 
As teachers, teaching is both social obligation and moral obligation to mold our learners to become good citizens and to
become good children of God.
