PRAYER TO OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST FOR DELIVERANCE FROM EVIL

To be prayed by the Afflicted

O Lord Jesus + Christ, Son of God, for the sake of Your most honourable Mother, Your holy
Angels, Your Prophet and Forerunner and Baptizer, and of all the God-inspired Apostles, of
the radiant and victorious Martyrs, of the holy and God-bearing Fathers, and by the prayers
of all the Saints, deliver me (us) from the besetting presence of the devil. My (Our) Lord and
Creator, who desires not the death of the sinner, but that he should repent and live, grant
also conversion to me (us), who am wretched and unworthy; snatch me (us) from the jaws
of the pernicious serpent, who is ravening to devour me (us) and drag me (us) down to Hell
alive. My (Our) Lord, my (our) Comfort, who was clothed in corruptible flesh for my (our)
miserable sake, deliver me (us) from misery and grant comfort to my (us) soul/s. Implant in
my (our) heart/s to fulfil Your commandments, and to forsake my (our) evil deeds, and to
receive Your joys. Save me (us), for I (we) hope in You, O Lord. Amen.

PRAYER AGAINST DEMONIC INFLUENCE

To be prayed by the Afflicted.

Almighty God, Who delivered Your people from the bondage of the adversary, and through
Your Son cast down Satan like lightning, deliver us your servants also from every influence
of unclean spirits. Command Satan to depart far from us by the power of Your only begotten
Son. Rescue us from demonic imaginings and darkness. Fill us with the light of the Holy Spirit
that we may be guarded against all snares of crafty demons. Grant that an angel will always
go before us and lead us to the path of righteousness all the days of their life, to the honor of
Your glorious Name, + Father, Son and Holy Spirit, now and forever. Amen.
V. Our help is in the name + of the Lord.
R. Who has made heaven and earth.
V. The Lord be with you.
R. And with your spirit.

Sprinkle the place with holy water and say the following prayer.

Lord, we believe in the Word of Scripture which says: ‘If we live our lives in the light, as He
is in the light, we are in union with one another, and the Blood of Jesus, His son, purifies us
from all sin.’ (1 Jn. 1:7)

O Heavenly + Father, we believe that the night is ending and daylight is getting close.
Therefore, we want to abandon the works of darkness and put on the armor of the Light.
(Rom. 13:12)

Heavenly Father, we want to stand up, to gird ourselves with the truth and to be protected
by the breastplate of justice, with the shoes of the Gospel of peace on our feet, always firmly
gripping the shield of that faith with which we are able to ward off and extinguish the burning
arrows of the evil one. And we want to wear the helmet of the salvation of Jesus Christ and
the sword of the Holy Spirit which is the Word of God. (Eph. 6:14-17)

Help us therefore in this ministry and let our coming be an instrument of grace to your people
who seek your aid. Amen.

Our Lord, You are all powerful, You are our God, You are our Father. We beg You through the
intercession and help of the archangels Michael, Raphael, and Gabriel, for our deliverance
and those our brothers and sisters who are being oppressed, harassed, and enslaved by the
evil one. All saints of heaven, come to our aid.

The following supplications can be expanded as deemed necessary. And the particular difficulty
can be repeated at least three times when it is truly present in a locality.

From anxiety, sadness, and obsessions,*We beg You: Free us, O Lord.
From hatred, fornication, (adultery), envy,*
From thoughts of jealousy, rage, and death,*
From every thought of suicide and abortion,*
From every form of sinful sexuality,*
From every division in our family, (our workplace, our community, our school, etc.), and from
every harmful friendship,*
From every sort of spell, malefice, witchcraft, and every form of the occult,*

Lord, You Who said, “I leave you peace, my peace I give you,” grant that, through the
intercession of the Virgin Mary, we may be liberated from every evil spell and enjoy Your
peace always. In the Name of + Christ, our Lord. Amen."

Redactor’s Notes: The head of the family or a representative must formally declare the
intention to renounce all evil in their life and their desire to have God as the Master of their
house and home, and to seek His blessing and protection.

To be prayed by the head of the family (or representative of the family)

In the name of the Lord Jesus + Christ, by the power of his cross, his blood and his
resurrection, I bind you Satan, the spirits, powers and forces of darkness, the nether world,
and the evil forces of nature.

I take authority + over all curses, hexes, demonic activity, and spells directed against me, my
relationships, air space, (workplace, school,) financial resources, and the work of my hands;
and I break them by the power and authority of the risen Lord Jesus Christ. I bind all demonic
interaction, interplay, and communications between spirits sent against me, and send them
directly to Jesus Christ for him to deal with as he wills.

I ask forgiveness for, and denounce all negative inner vows that I or anyone in my family ,
(or those under me) have made with the enemy, and ask that Jesus Christ release me (us)
from these vows and from any bondage they may have held in me (us). I claim the shed blood
of Jesus Christ, the Son of the living God, over every aspect of my (our) life for my protection.
I pray all these things in the precious name of my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to your
protection, implored your help, or sought your intercession was left unaided.
Inspired by this confidence, we fly to You, O Virgin of virgins, our mother; to you do we come,
before you I stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not our
petitions, but inyour mercy hear and answer us. Amen

O glorious prince St. Michael,

chief and commander of the heavenly hosts,
guardian of souls, vanquisher of rebel spirits,
servant in the house of the Divine King
and our admirable conductor,
you who shine with excellence
and superhuman virtue deliver us from all evil,
who turn to you with confidence
and enable us by your gracious protection
to serve God more and more faithfully every day.

St. Michael the Archangel,

defend us in battle.
Be our defence against the wickedness and snares of the Devil.
May God rebuke him, we humbly pray,
and do thou,
O Prince of the heavenly hosts,
by the power of God,
thrust into hell Satan,
and all the evil spirits,
who prowl about the world
seeking the ruin of souls. Amen.
