Notification
The Vice Chancellor is pleased to grant approval to the following revised rules for the summer
semester 2021 due to third wave of COVID-19 for Government College University, Faisalabad, Main
Campus, Sub-Campuses and Affiliated Colleges are as under:-

Rules No. 9 of the Semester Rules of the University regarding summer semester modified for one
time only are as under:-
9.1 A student who wants to take “Audit”, or “Deficiency” or “Advance Course”, he/she may enroll in
summer semester.
9.2 A student who has failed any subject or wants to improve his/her “D” grade or lowest grade with
CGPA (less than 2.50 for BS 8th, 10th& M.Sc 4th and less than 2.80 for M.Phil amd Ph.D 2nd ) on case
of rest of the semesters irrespective of the CGPA may be allowed to register in summer.
9.3. A student shall only be allowed to register four courses.
9.4. In the summer semester a course will be offered for minimum one student only for last semester.
9.5. Rs. 5000/- fee will be charged per course per student.
9.6. A teacher shall be allowed to teach not more than two courses in summer, and he will be paid 40%
of course fee per student as remuneration
9.7.The decision of the drop out of final year students will be finalized after completion of summer
semester.
Furthermore, the students of Affiliated Colleges on the recommendation of the concerned
Principal may also be allowed to enroll in the Summer Semester 2021 at their respective main/sub
campuses with Subject to the following conditions.
1. The complete list of No. of students in different courses with full details will be provided
till 27-07-2021.
2. The 30% of the fee per student per course will be paid to University at the time of
registration.
3. No registration will be entertained after 07-08-2020.
